To follow along with the presentations, and participate in the BOFs and Code Sprint, you should have a Drupal setup on your laptop. Here are some links and helpful information to get you up and running. We strongly recommend you do this prior to coming to DrupalCamp NH, but if you can't we have set aside time from 8am to 9am on Saturday where people will be available to help you get set up.
In order to run Drupal on your computer you will need to have Apache, MySQL & PHP (aka an "AMP" stack) running on you system. The best way to do this is to install one of the packages below.
The quickest way to install Drupal is with the Acquia Dev Desktop package. This provides a customized AMP stack for running Drupal. For instructions on installing Dev Desktop go to https://drupal.org/node/1248034, or for a video tutorial check out http://buildamodule.com/ for instructions on installing on Windows or Mac OSX.
Another option is to install WAMP for Windows (install instructions, alternative instructions), MAMP for Mac OSX (install instructions), or the basic AMP elements on Linux (install instructions); a cross-platform option is XAMPP.
You may also need a text editor, if you don't already have one you're comfortable using you might have luck with one of the editors featured in this text editor roundup article.
